FAQ: Participation Summary Widget
Why is my participation summary widget showing incorrect data?
The participation summary widget may not immediately reflect changes when you add or remove participants from your project. This is a common issue that can be resolved with simple troubleshooting steps.
What does the participation summary widget show?
The participation summary widget displays the percentage and count of participants who have responded to your survey out of the total number of invited participants.
How do I fix incorrect participation data? What are the three steps?
Follow these three steps in order:
Step 1: Update Invited Counts
- Navigate to the Participants tab
- Click on "Tools"
- Select "Update Invited Counts"
- This ensures your participation summary reflects the current number of participants invited to your project
Step 2: Update Responses with Current Metadata
- Still in the Participants tab, click on "Tools"
- Select "Update Responses with Current Metadata"
- This ensures any changes made to participant data and metadata are reflected in your dashboard
Step 3: Refresh Dashboard Data
- Go to Dashboard Settings
- Navigate to "Dashboard Data"
- Scroll to the bottom and click "Other Field"
- Add a field called "ray index"
- Click "Save"
- Return to your dashboard and refresh the page
Do I need to do all three steps?
Yes, it's recommended to complete all three steps for the best results. Sometimes one or two steps may be sufficient, but completing all three ensures the most accurate data refresh.
How long does it take for the changes to appear?
Changes should appear immediately after completing the three steps and refreshing your dashboard page.
