Manually flag response for follow up

Hiya qualtrics hivemind!I am looking for ways to manually flag a response, or raise a ticket, to follow up on specific feedback. We have a number of always on feedback surveys running. We review the responses regularly and investigate issues raised to close the loop and identify root cause. Currently we have tickets which are raised based on low scores / detractor responses. But we sometimes get positive scores but detailed written feedback that we want to follow up and document too. Wondering if there is a way to do this in qualtrics?

Wide export of multiselects - question ID skipping a number?

I’m running into a problem where the automatically generated question labels when I export the data (in wide format for the multiselects, as described in this post) skip a number. See screenshot below for what I’m seeing in the exported CSV, where the options count by one up until RES1_5 and then RES1_6 is skipped and the next option is labeled RES1_7. I think I must have created and later deleted a response option in this question that got assigned RES1_6. However, this was before any Survey Previews or generated Survey Test responses were created. No data are recorded under RES1_6. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have code in R that works off an assumption that these multiselects are assigned a question ID in numeric order, with no skips, so I really would like to fix this on the Qualtrics side rather than the R side.

missing item in list of filter options

I’m on the Results Dashboard trying to add a filter that is based on my first question, which is a required multiple choice question with two answer options. When I click the button to add a filter, the first question does not appear in the list of options. Any thoughts on why and how to resolve? (Screen shots of the item and the filter screen are attached.) Thanks so much!

Impossible to schedule the L1 exam - Bug on form

Hi everyone - I just completed the L1 training and was hoping to schedule an exam today. To do so, one has to fill in a form, and then click on the submit button. Except that nothing happens after clicking on “Submit”. I tried around 20 times, on different laptops, browsers, devices, IP addresses. I just paid $500 to be able to take the L1+L2 exams, but because I don’t have a paid Qualtrics account, I am not allowed to reach out to customer support…. Anyone here from Qualtrics who could help me schedule my L1 exam? Thank you !

Assistance Needed – Issue with Qualtrics Account Access and Collaboration Permissions

Hi,I’m hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this issue.My previous Qualtrics account was under an academic Core XM license affiliated with my former workplace. After changing workplaces, I continued using the same account to collaborate at my new workplace, which also holds a licensed account. At that point, I hadn’t yet been removed from my previous organization’s license, nor officially added as a user under the new one—but collaboration still worked, likely due to both institutions having academic licenses with cross-org collaboration permissions (just my assumption).Recently, my former workplace removed me from their license. As a result, I was prompted to reset my password. After doing so and logging in, I lost access to all surveys that had been shared with me by colleagues at my new workplace.They attempted to re-send the collaboration links, but I now receive the following error:"You do not have permission to accept survey collaborations."I checked my account settings and no

Is there a setting to allow respondents to edit answers after submission?

I would like to allow respondents to edit answers after initial submission, similar to how Google Forms works. Is this possible in Qualtrics? I can't seem to find the setting.

Autoselecting based on selections from two previous questions

I am having trouble with a bit a script that I was hoping someone could help me with.I have 3 multiple choice questions, all with the same response options. QID1 & QID2 are independent question, where respondents may select any number of different options. Then, when we get to QID3, I want any common options that have been selected across QID1 & QID2 to be autoselected at this question (so that I can use this to control subsequent working). e.g. if ‘Brand 1’, ‘Brand 3’ & ‘Brand 6’ are selected at QID1 AND ‘Brand 3’, ‘Brand 6’, ‘Brand 10’ & ‘Brand 12’ are selected at QID2, then ‘Brand 3’ & ‘Brand 6’ should be automatically selected when QID3 loads.I was thinking something along the lines of the draft below, but this doesn’t work. Does anyone know how to fix this to function as described above? What is Your Institution's User Account Process?

Hi Everyone! Currently, the Qualtrics account process my department requires for active employees and students is for them to successfully pass either a Workday-based tutorial (for employees) or a D2L shell of the same tutorial for students.  Once it’s been proven that they’ve achieved the minimum passing score of 80%, either my co-brand administrators or I create the account.Workplace Learning has suggested that requestors now obtain a Qualtrics credential first and direct them to the Qualtrics training platform for the beginner’s guide.What does your institution do and what have been the benefits and gaps/pros and cons to your process?Thank you!

Exporting and notifications of unsubscribes from lists

Please helpI have several different lists currently, and am needing to find a way to automatically notify and export contacts who have unsubscribed from any list. Our legal team have mandated that we must unsubscribe these people so I need a way to get them out, that doesn't involve me manually jumping in running a filter in each list and exporting.

SFTP Export of Unsubscribe

We are needing to have the ExternalDataReference exported for anyone who unsubscribes from a list or directory, ideally via SFTP export. Current functionality allows this for survey responses but not for unsubscribes. Any possible solutions here?

Counting the number of choices made in a multi select question

I have a survey with many questions which contain brand lists and people are asked which brands they buy.I would like to know how many selections were made by each respondent for each of the multi select questions.Is there a 'Question_Count' variable within Qualtrics?Thanks for any advice

I want to limit the choices entered for a text entry Matrix Table.

I want to be able to limit the user’s answering in a matrix table question. There are 11 total statements but I only want them to enter 5 answers out of the 11. They are ranking 1-5, 1 being the top choice and 5 being their less preferred. Is there a way to do this easily? See photo below.

adjust slider range and starting point based on response to a previous question

Newbie here. If we have a slider question and we wish to adjust let's say the minimum, maximum and starting values based on the response to a previous question using javascript, how can we do so? To clarify, let's say someone answers 40 for Question1. For Question2, we now wish to dynamically limit the slider value maximum value to 40 (response to Question1), minimum value to 40/10 (one-tenth of response to Question1) and starting point to 40/2 (half of response to Question1). Please could someone kindly share the corresponding javascript that I could add to Q2 to make it work. Thanks.

Print multiple questions from a survey on a single page.

Hello! I created a survey, and need the questions in a block to print on a single page. Screenshot #1 below is the code I’m working with. Finding the Grand Total of Survey Answers from a Constant Sum Question

Hello! I used multiple Constant Sum questions in a survey.  I am able to make the tables in the Dashboard that I was hoping for to see each response, but what I was hoping to do is get a Grand Total of all of the constant sum answers. For example:  Staff at multiple school buildings are adding the count of “Formal”, “Informal”, and “Other” counts of Disability related discrimination cases.  I can see the totals for each building/survey respondent.  My goal is to be able to see all responses totaled so I can get a school district perspective for state reporting. Is it possible to get a running Grand Total of these categories?  Thanks for any help!

Asking respondents to select 10 choices from a longer list?

Hi all. I am attempting to build a survey item where respondents would select their top 10 choices from a list of 37. Is that possible? I know I can use a rank order question and just ask respondents to rank their top 10 that way, but I feel like there is a cleaner approach. Ideally, I’d love for respondents to be able to drag and drop an item out of the list of 37 into a rank order list. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!
